Pinot Noir
2023
Vintage 2023 kicked off with a series of early frosts, this was followed by a hot, dry summer and almost drought conditions with minimal rainfall from December to mid February. Just prior to harvest we worked around the return of the rain and a series of frosts at the end of the season to once again keep us on our toes. The harvested fruit, a blend of two clones 10/5 and Abel, was a beautiful, high quality crop. It was delivered to our winemaker Matt, who has made us a classically elegant and very approachable Central Otago Pinot noir.
